Burleigh & Morton County Sheriffs Discuss Joint Jail Vote Posted on 6/5/2014
View Video Voters in Burleigh and Morton County will go to the polls June 10th to decide whether or not to support a joint county detention center. Voting "Yes" will allow the counties to build a new jail on the east side of Bismarck. If approved this June, the jail can be constructed with a completion date of January 2017. Burleigh County Sheriff Pat Heinert and Morton County Sheriff Dave Shipman discuss the need for a new jail and the proposal in this video.
